Worship Volunteers

Our Worship services would not be possible without the participation and contributions of many different people. Depending on your interests and talents, there are several for you to choose from. Whichever task speaks to you, we will provide you with the needed training and guidance, so you feel comfortable in your role.

Here is a (non-exhaustive) list of Worship volunteer roles with brief descriptions:

  • Welcome Ministry (greet worshippers, welcome and assist newcomers)
  • Altar Guild (set and clean up altar, launder and iron altar linens)
  • Lector (read one of the daily readings/intercessions)
  • Acolyte (lead procession, assist at the altar)
  • Music Ministry (sing, play an instrument)
  • Broadcast Ministry (facilitate on-line part of our hybrid service)
  • Children’s Formation (help our coordinator with the children during Worship)

If you are interested in any of these or would like more information, please contact Fr. Richard: fr.richard@stmarks-cityheights.org or complete the form below.
