Mite Boxes: Lenten Practice of Almsgiving | Join our yearly Lenten tradition of giving alms for a needy cause.

This year’s mite box money will be designated for Casa Cornelia Law Center, a San Diego non-profit Casa Cornelia provides free counsel and representation to indigent immigrants. They work with adults and children at each step of their immigration journey. In addition to handling cases in-house, Casa Cornelia also recruits, trains, and mentors volunteer attorneys who provide pro bono service to clients. For more info, check their website:https://casacornelia.org/.

Gloria Bader, Ed.D., former chair of the Board, will visit St. Mark’s on March 15 to speak about Casa Cornelia following the Sunday Service.

Pick up your mite box in church on Sunday. It fits coins, bills & checks! Please be generous as the need is great.

Mite box Ingathering will be on Easter Sunday, April 5.
