Sunday October 4 we conclude our annual Season of Creation by celebrating the Feast of St. Francis with an outdoor Sunday service at Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park by the City Heights library across the street from the police station and facing Fairmount Ave. 4 blocks due south from St. Mark’s. You can park at St. Mark’s & walk, or find parking closer by. The service includes a Blessing of the Animals, so please bring your pets!!!
Hospitality at Mass on the Grass
With our (unhoused) neighbors in mind, breakfast burritos and drinks will be provided and served instead of the usual first-Sunday-of-the-month-potluck. If you’d like to contribute some other easy handheld finger food or snacks to share with our neighbors at the park, we’d appreciate it and we thank you!
