Preparations for St. Mark’s Annual Back To School Bash (#14) are in full swing. The event is on August 1 (9-11 am). Pre-registered children (grades PreK-6) receive a high quality backpack, school supplies, and a celebration reminding them that their hard work matters. We want every child to have the tools they need to succeed in their academic journey.
Ways in which you can support and help with this event:
★ Help plan & organize the event. Schedule of meetings (all via St. Mark’s Zoom) are: July 8 at 6 pm, July 10 at 6 pm, July 24 at 5 pm.
★ Volunteer for the Bash (various tasks and shift times available). Contact Chris Nolan: chrisn@stmarks-cityheights.org (St. Mark’s Outreach Coordinator & Parish Administrator) to sign up or go directly to the online sign up https://tinyurl.com/B2SB2026.
★ Help sponsor a child. $60 sponsors one child. Any contribution/partial sponsorships welcome! Make an online donation here, or send a check to St. Mark’s PO Box 5788 San Diego CA 92165 (please designate your donation for the B2SB).
