St. Mark’s Annual Back To School Bash (#13!) on July 26 is a joyous and festive event celebrating our neighborhood children as they get ready for a new school year. It is a way to show that we value them, their families and their education. The bash provides age-appropriate backpacks & school supplies for students in PreK – 6th grade.
Ways in which you can support this event:
★ Volunteer for the bash on July 26 (shifts available between 10:30 am –3:30 pm). To volunteer contact Chris Nolan: chrisn@stmarks-cityheights.org (St. Mark’s Outreach Coordinator & Parish administrator) or call 619-283-6242 (email preferred). Volunteer for backpack assembly/stuffing on July 22 (6 pm) followed by pizza. Deadline for volunteering for either date is July 16.
★ Help sponsor a child. $60 sponsors one child. Any contribution/partial sponsorships welcome! Make an online donation here, or send a check to St. Mark’s PO Box 5788 San Diego CA 92165.
