We invite and encourage you to participate in our yearly Lenten tradition of giving alms via the mite boxes. Proceeds are for a needy cause. This year’s mite box money will be designated for Comunidad de Luz, a shelter and residential program for migrant women and children in Tijuana, with job training to help women build new skills and a stable environment for children. Robert Vivar, EDSD’s Migration Missioner, will talk to us about Comunidad de Luz on March 23. Be sure to pick up your mite box. It fits coins, bills & checks! Please be generous as the need is great.
