Creation to Revelation
This art show will benefit St. Mark’s outreach ministries. It will feature paintings, ceramics, and photography from St. Mark’s parishioner artists: Anne Curo, Robert Montana, William Stothers and Kathy Thomson. All are invited to the opening reception on Saturday, September 28, 4-8 pm. Unsold work will continue to be available for purchasing on Sunday, September 29 & Sunday, October 6 @ noon to 3 pm.
This is not a silent auction but some of the art works will suggest a minimum amount to donate for purchase. Other art work will be identified as “make an offer.” We want everyone to find something they love at a price they can afford! Art can be paid for and taken home by the new owner that day!
Your donations will support our Outreach Ministries which include: a twice weekly food pantry, which provides fresh fruits & vegetables along with shelf stable food items to 200+ weekly guests. Clothing & food ministry to the unhoused. Annual events for our neighbors including the Back-To-School-Bash, providing backpacks & school supplies to neighborhood children; Maundy Thursday footwashing & foot care event; Joy To The World Christmas event providing fellowship, food and mirth to unhoused and neighbors in need of companionship.
This October, marks the beginning of a new outreach ministry for St. Mark’s, as we will house Uptown Faith Community Services‘ mail service for the unhoused.
