Ashes-To-Go: We will go out into City Heights and offer our neighbors ashes and prayers on Ash Wednesday. While standing on the four corners of Fairmount and University Avenues, and roaming its adjacent shopping center, we meet folks on their way to their daily activities.
Those interested in helping with this ministry meet at St. Mark’s at 6:45 am and offer ashes from 7-9 am.
Ashes will also be offered at the food pantry. Meet at St. Mark’s at 10:45 am, ashes will be offered during regular pantry hours: 11 am – 1 pm.
If you are willing to help with either of these Ash distributions to the wider community, let Fr. Richard know. EVERYONE is welcome to be part of this ministry.
