This Lent, our Diocesan parishes are participating in a book study of The New Parish: How Neighborhood Churches Are Transforming Mission, Discipleship and Community by Paul Sparks, Tim Soerens and Dwight J. Friesen. The book study ties in with our Diocesan Year of Service in 2023.
We invite all to join us for the St. Mark’s book study for 5 meetings on Sundays following our service for 45 min (except 3/19, see below).
The meeting dates and reading discussed each week are as listed below:
Feb. 26: Intro & Ch 1
March 5: Ch 2 & 3
March 12: Ch 4 & 5
March 19: Ch 6 & 7 | Meeting at 9 am due to Bishop’s visit
March 26: Ch 8, 9 & Conclusion
